Great fight for Santa Cruz and good to get a 'name' for his first fight at 122. I thought Munoz was retired so this came as a surprise to me. I knew they hoped to fight Rafa Marquez but he picked up an injury. I'm worried for Munoz though because he hadn't fought for 2 years before his winning comeback in December and he's going in against a hungry, extremely active fighter over 10 rounds. I think Leo will stop him.

Five fights within one year! You have to respect an active champion. Unless Sata Cruz has caught major leauge burnout, and maybe pneumonia, he's going to go full blown runaway lawn mower on Munoz.

At one point they were going to put him in with Moreno which would definitely not be a good idea for him right now. This is a showcase for him and he deserves it after his last year and the way he fights. This and the Mares-Ponce fight means a really watchable undercard.
