Great recent Oliver McCall interview
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wasERzn5ZX0
At about the 3:10 mark he talks about his last fight against Francesco Pianeta who will be fighting Wladimir Klistschko next.
Its fuckin hilarious. "I seen they weren't gonna let me finish him so I just did this !"
Crazy old bastard ! ;D
Yeah yeah he cried once in a fight due to detoxing. Big deal. You have to respect this warrior who has NEVER been knocked off his feet in nearly 70 fights and at 47 years old is still fighting undefeated relevant heavyweights.
Also notice how there is absolutely no slurring of the speech like with Toney, Bowe or Holyfield. McCall is inhuman.

David Haye not tough competition?
Re: Great recent Oliver McCall interview
You guys are missing the point of this video:
A. McCall is still a bad ass and shows no signs of damage in his speech
B. He's still crazy as ever and a funny sucker
Re: Great recent Oliver McCall interview
Father and son training is an interesting angle it would be good for Witherspoon to fight them on a card.

That is a pretty good idea. I'd take Oliver over lazy Tim Witherspoon. And if Tim's nephew, Chazz were fighting then I'd have to favor him over Oliver's son Elijiah ? As Chazz made it fairly far in heavyweight boxing, borderline top 20 at one point.

Re: Great recent Oliver McCall interview
McCall is one tough old bastard. I met him and he was a good guy too. and that man can hit very very hard, even at 47!!!! one good pop on ole glass jaw and wlad would be jelly. the question is , would wlad let him hit him, or even fight him.....lol.

Before I read your post I was listening to vid and I noticed that he had no slurring.
Dude seems proper fit.
A few good wins and get him back in there.

He'll never be a true contender again at his age, but he is an OG. I hope he gets those few good wins or least 1 and retires. He can't go on forever, even if he is one of the toughest men to ever box.
I like Kimbo, but it would be pretty badass and amusing if his people picked on Oliver McCall as an opponent.
Re: Great recent Oliver McCall interview
Good interview. Very lucid, unusual for an old Boxing veteran. Dude's still certifiable though even if he comes off as being of sound mind here.
