I'd rather watch Stiverne vs Wlad
Yes I know Stiverne's Vitali's mandatory. But c'mon... Vitali really is closer to retirement than Wlad. He's practically got one foot out the door, what with his chronic injuries, his political aspirations and all that. But what about Wlad?
Although TBH, and although I enjoyed the hell out of the Stiverne-Arreola war... I'm not sure how Stiverne would fare against Wlad. Positive things I saw in Stiverne:
- His body punching
- His obvious power, which he kept into the later rounds
- His defensive skills in ducking Arreola's bombs and getting off the ropes
Things I didn't like:
- His mouth was constantly open since the 3rd or 4th round
- His total lack of activity during stretches of the fight
- How he came into the ring so tight and cold (that was the chance for Arreola to take him out)
So how would he do against Wlad? Hard to tell.
But maybe we'll never find out, since he's got to fight Vitali first.

I like that fight, I also like Arreola vs Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder next or even Jennings. Like I said there are good fights to be made.
Stiverne has the typical punchers chance but he won't outbox Wlad. The key is the work to the body, Wlad hasn't had to deal with constant pressure to the body before.
Re: I'd rather watch Stiverne vs Wlad
I think Wlad would keep him at the end of his jab, tire him out, and stop him late. But I do agree that it would be a very intriguing fight (though perhaps one that in retrospect people would give Wlad shit for). Vitali is going to lose if he fights again - he's badly faded and his heart isn't in it any more.

The problem for Stiverne, like everyone who fights Wlad, will be getting past the jab and getting inside. Last night was the fight time I saw him, but Stiverne does not strike me as being very fleet of foot.

He's got to move his head not his feet

If a slow, fat, beat-up Arreola was able to catch him clean (which he was), I don't have much hope for him being able to avoid Wlad's shots.

Stiverne is to inactive to beat either of the brothers.
