Dude, that's unfair to Bute. The guy went to Nottingham to fight Froch and then fought a banger in his next fight. I'm pretty sure he doesn't chicken out of fights. Not to mention this was his BIGGEST pay day. If he loses to someone else before he faces Pascal, he'll have missed out on a lot of money.
With regard to replacement, Shumenov is a great pick, but I highly doubt Shumenov takes that offer. The guys fights once a year. When was the last time he was even in the ring?
Kovalev wasn't a bad idea either--I heard that was being bounced around.
If Bute is out for a while, it frees up Pascal to take on Stevenson if Adonis beats Dawson.
