Ike Williams Tribute
The Trenton Terror is generally considered one of the top-ten lightweights of all time. Unfortunately perhaps, he is more famous for associating with Blinky Palermo and Frankie Carbo and testifying at the 1960 Senate Hearings into organized crime than he is for his boxing. He died poor and in obscurity in Los Angeles. Here's a short article on him. As far as I know, no one has written a book on him. What do you know about him? Have you read any good articles on the man?

Ike Williams was a monster - tough tough guy. Had the same style as Ruben carter but a little bit more finesse.

Re: Ike Williams Tribute
My friend met him once in a gym, many years ago. He said Ike was pretty old at the time and very soft spoken and polite. He was just standing there in the gym, watching, and nobody paid any attention to him. My friend thought that that was sad.
