If he truely fell and actually landed on his face, his reflexes must be shot...

TOo much is being made out of this.. SO what if he got a bruise and it's highly unlikely that he got a bruise that severe from sparring with his inferior sparring partners. It definitely looks like he got into some streetfight .. BUt at the same time, I dont believe he really fell off.. NObody is that clumsy especially a fighter whose in training mode.. When dudes are in training, they are one of the sharpest people on the earth. BOth mind and body.. Chances of them slipping like that and getting a bruise are slim to none..
Something about Mikey Garcia dont sit well with me. He's a nerd with no personality, a questionable fighting spirit, and I think the dog might come out of Juanma and beat him..
I aint betting no money on it but Im with Juanma all the way.

I think this about sums it up for me, too.

Just my opinion, but Lopez has got too many holes and Garcia is a hard worker, doesn't get frazzled easy and doesn't have to worry about stalking and finding an opponent with better footwork. If salido can land those punches, I think the rangey Garcia is going to systematically feel him out and pick him apart. It may not be as fast or brutal but I think it may be fairly one sided. Lopez can maybe go for the bum rush early as Garcia seems to be a slow starter, but I can see him getting buzzed on the third punch if Garcia switches to a southpaw stance (which he does from time to time) and uncorks that that right hand at the end of an exchange. .. eh. I could be wrong.

I think that's his only shot at winning. Going for the early knock out. The longer it goes. The more bruising you gonna see on him
Re: Juanma Lopez falls over in training badly bruised
all I know is that Garcia's mentality heading into the fight is what EVERY fighters mentality should be, doesn't matter who you have beaten you take each fight on an individual basis
"I'm getting ready to fight the best JuanMa, which I think is going to surface that night -- a good fighter with good technique," Garcia said. "And nothing's going to have to do with my victory over Salido. It has nothing to do if I beat Salido and he beat JuanMa. I'm going to face a great fighter."
