Could a catch weight be arranged for the froch hopkins fight or would froch want to be a champ at lightheavy to add to his legacy.
Froch vs ward in the USA or UK?
Froch is a better fighter and with ward coming back after a shoulder injury this could be the time to get him.

Ward is playing a dangerous game with his inactivity and Froch seems to be honing the aggression that won him the last 3 rounds against Ward. Froch is verbally clumsy, but mentally seems to be handling his career in a very sharp way. Rather than pretend to be a cutesy boxer, he is mixing it up and making sure he lands more than you land on him. He is definitely commiting to those combinations and biting down hard. He seems harder to fight like this as before he would give you plenty of time to land on him whilst he played at being the most unrefined slickster ever seen. He is going walkabouts much less now. If you can stand up to it, then he will outwork you and if you can't then he will flatten you. I think Ward could yet be flattened by Froch and Froch has to go in with that mindset. Pressure, punches in bunches, and clever aggression. Froch was doing little of that backfoot stuff he did against Abraham or 1st time out against Kessler. Froch was much better and you have to say it was down to Froch as Froch was the one fighting differently and doing it from the off.
Now I've seen Froch do 12 against Kessler I will say that he is better. You couldn't make those comparisons with the previous fights as Bute was chinny and Mack was nothing special. This time Froch beat a previous opponent and did it pretty well. I had it 7-5 Froch, but was being perhaps a bit too nice to Kessler who was being outworked. He would make a better case against Ward now and Ward is really letting his career slide away at the moment. He is so inactive and I pay little attention to a thoroughly drained Dawson getting stopped. Ward is smug with his 'You have to fight in America spiel'. Is this one of the holy commandments Oh righteous one? Ward has nowhere to go in this division as Froch has cleaned it out and now has the belts. If Ward wants anything then he has to either go to the UK or just move up. Nobody is paying him any attention as he doesn't fight and has no fans, I don't see that he has any choice but to do a Lacy and fight the man on his home turf. Ward owes Froch that courtesy, but listening to him speak, so seems very smug and the way he acts is very lazy. Ward is not as hungry as Froch and I think that could be his downfall.
A hopkins/froch fight would be very interesting.
