Roy Jones Jr accepts Anderson Silva's challenge
Roy Jones Jr. Ready To Accept Anderson Silva Challenge - Boxing News
SOrry to dissapoint you Matty but this will be a boxing match, no fag rules like holding and shit like that.. Strictly a man's boxing match..
How many of ya are stoked for this fight?
Re: Roy Jones Jr accepts Anderson Silva's challenge
Won't happen. Silva's signed to a 10 fight contract with the UFC and Dana White would never let this happen. Doesn't do him any good to have his champ and p4p best get destroyed in a boxing match by a washed up Roy Jones.
Re: Roy Jones Jr accepts Anderson Silva's challenge
I thought Jones was fighting Steve Collins?
Re: Roy Jones Jr accepts Anderson Silva's challenge
Jones needs to fuck right off. Sorry dude but you are embarrassing yourself.
Re: Roy Jones Jr accepts Anderson Silva's challenge
I wouldn't mind seeing Jones destroy Silva. Silva has boxed pro before. So it shouldn't be something that's completely foreign to him.

My first thoughts exactly! Dana White is a c**t and would never let this happen. In saying that I would love to this fight!!!
Re: Roy Jones Jr accepts Anderson Silva's challenge
Dana wouldn't let Diaz fight a washed up Jeff Lacy. He wouldn't let his prized asset take this. I don't think Silva has signed his 10 fight deal yet.
Re: Roy Jones Jr accepts Anderson Silva's challenge
I dont agree. Silva is too fast and too strong for a 2013 Jones. Ideal situation for Dana to show how better UFC fighters are then boxers

Huh:confused: Even in an MMA match, about the only advantages Anderson WOULDN'T have over Jones are raw speed and strength. In a boxing match, he would have sweet fuck all to offer anyone remotely decent and even the corpse of Roy Jones would knock him flat out.

Clueless. Of course the younger, best fighter on the planet, has speed and strength advantage. Joneses nothing going for him anymore. Have u even ever watched Silva. So comfortable in everything he does
Hardly pal. Silva is what, 39 himself? He does not have faster hands than Roy Jones by any stretch of the imagination even today. I'm actually a fan of Silvas, he's my favourite MMA fighter by far and I think he has incredible skills. Of course he's comfortable with everything he does IN AN MMA FIGHT, but that's not what is being discussed here is it. To actually think because he can outbox the guys he fights he'd have a chance in a serious boxing match, is being clueless.

Jones would win in the ring. Probably not in the cage.

Do you think he could beat Michael Phelps in the pool, if he was allowed to throw punches?

In a fight yes, in a race no
