I think Gamboa would be too small for him, his defense would be exposed too and he didn't look all that impressive last time anyway (I'm refering to Gamboa :-X).
It just wouldn't prove anything regarding Broner if you ask me but rather make him look better than he really might be.
You know who I'd pick to be his truth-bringer? Mikey García. Yes he's a featherweight but he's also tall like Broner and he had a hard time to make weight last time too (came in at 147, if I remember correctly).
Oh, and Crawford too.
P.S. All this means I don't care about a matchup between the two.

Broner should stay at welterweight and try and unify the titles and be the next big challenger to Floyd Mayweather. That would be Berto as the others are busy right now.
Is this serious. Broner would destroy Gamboa. Have you watched Gamboas last fights? Have you seen his weak chun. Have you seen the size difference?

I saw Broner's last fight and he looked shiit. Almost everyone had him destroying Paulie but look what happened. Gamboa has more of everything that Paulie has except for weight and chin. I don't think he has a bad chin anyway, more a case of him getting caught while throwing flurries where he'd be better off sitting down and throwing less, yet more meaningful punches then moving to the side or smothering. A weak chin is when you fear that a guy is going to get KO'd anytime he engages, not when he's suffered flash knockdowns. That's like saying that Marquez has a weak chin. While Broner has 4 1/2 inches of reach over Gamboa he's only an inch taller. Never been sold on the cunt either and his last fight only confirmed that. Standing there in a shell letting a shoeshiner like Paulie wail away at your body, whip your head back with jabs then responding by just standing there and shaking your head is fucking bullshit. I see Gamboa getting caught and knocked down when he reverts to throwing those silly little flurries but that's one of the reasons it would be a fun fight. Two guys who have speed, pop, put them together well yet can run out of steam early and lose focus in patches. Later on both could be tired and swinging just looking for the big shots. No way does Broner destroy Gamboa though. Gamboa flows his combos way more than Paulie and can actually punch. Paulie's decent but Gamboa's in a different league altogether. Broner's a hypejob, a poor man's copy and nothing more. After watching the de Leon fight I believe Valero would have murdered him as well.Quote:
