Wish Macklin well and hope he does not take too much punishment.

Macklin is too easy to hit cleanly and Golovkin hits way too hard. Could be a tear up for a while but you'd have to fancy Golovkin by KO.

I'm sure everyone and their dog are betting the farm on Matthew standing right there in the pocket and taking a pounding. Pretty good chance Macklin also knows this.;D

Looking forward to seeing Oosthuizen. Seen him a few times but dont really rate him. He is very high in the rankings though. Hes a big lad so wouldnt see him having a problem moving up in weight.

Well i think its fair to say this is Golovkin's toughest fight to date. I have said previously that i wont jump on the GGG bandwagon until after the result of the Macklin fight. From watching both fighters previous fights i think Macklin proved to us all that he is a top MW fighter after the Martinez fight (alot of people even thought that Macklin won that fight in Sergio's home country and being Argentina vs England).

If GGG was to be exposed, i think Matthew Macklin is the man to do it.

I am still going with Gennady to pick Matthew apart though.

Oh shit how nub of me ..Silly mistake ..All along i though Murray and Macklin was the same guy..How fucking embarrassing i am off to bury my head in the sand :-X

I will sadly miss this as two of my married buds are getting to go out tonight, they're on a ball and chain so this is a rare occasion. I am looking forward to catching the replay sometime tomorrow but I'm sure I won't be able to help myself and get on the boards and check for updates. I do think golo takes this by ko in in the mid rounds somewhere or thereabouts. I know people are talking of golo possibly getting "exposed" by macklin or someone else, but I don't think there is anything to be "exposed" . You don't have the success he did in the amateurs without having some boxing brain to go with the brawn.

Also buffer is staring hard at that blonde's ass.

Despite me making a pony getting Murray mixed up with Macklin, easy mistake to make, both from England, both with initials MM, both Middleweight top 10 and both fought Martinez.

I still think my point is valid in that this is still GGG's toughest fight so far.

Teddy picked Golovkin to dominate Macklin for a ko. Hopefully we see a good scrap though...Teddys been known to be wrong ;D

Really looking forward to seeing Willie Nelson finally on a big stage vs Cuello!

Good scrap between Nelson and Cuello so far. Cuello seems to gaining momentum.

Nelson not performing well the last 2 rounds. I get that he's never going to just lay outside but at least throw a short jab to break up Cuello's forward momentum. He keeps trying to time him with hooks and thats not going to work against a cagey vvet.

Nelson may duplicate Paul Williams frame, but he better up his activity big time and use his height! Looked like shit in 3rd. 3-1 Nelson
