Brian Magee tests positive for PEDS - Gets lesser sentance after proving accident
Brian Magee banned for six months after testing positive for oxilofrine | Sky Sports
Apparently this was for the Kessler fight. Magee has apparently proved the substance was an unnamed ingredient in a supplement. Just shows you can take PEDs without even knowing it I guess. He has been banned for 6 months.

He did well to keep that quiet!
Could it even be they are buying these suppliments because they have the banned substances in and using it as a fromt for the intended use of those substances?

No bending/breaking of the rules would surprise me. I know this is a band substance but I also know this isnt listed as an ingredient. If I get caught I'll get six months ban. Hardly career ending even at Magee's age.
Not saying thats what Magee has done but Im sure it does/will happen.

Apparently not in many cases, contamination even still happens with legal supplements because some of them are so ridiculous and made in the same factories as other banned shit. It didn't say anything in the article about his actual levels or what these Peds do but since they've lessened his ban I'd bet this legit. He's an old domestic level guy just trying to get another payday or two, probably thought he'd try some new post workout powder. Didn't Enzo Mac have a similar thing happen not long ago?

I'll put it doen as a typo. 'Band substance' Most of us can work out that cocaine off of a groupy's arse doesn't consitute a performance enhancing drug Ross!... ;)

Im fed up with pissy little girls in here bringing up grammar, spelling, punctuation etc when they are losing an argument.
We all know what each other means and can see that a miss spelt word is mostly down to typing too fast.
