for me it has to be... Ali Vs Foreman
Mike Tyson vs Buster Douglas.
Roy Jones vs Bernard Hopkins.
Roy Jones vs James Toney.
Ray Mercer vs Evander Holyfield.
Would have loved to see lenox and vitali square off once more
Oscar-Cheato 2 not materializing is more Cheato's fault . I remember in the early 2000s like around 03, Oscar made many attempts to set up a rematch, frequently visiting Tito In Puerti rico, buying him dinner and shit like that to convince him but dude didnt bulge. He wasn't having none of it cuz he know he hit the jackpot in 99.. He knew he got schooled and could not compete with him stylistically so even when he made brief comebacks, he fought everybody but OScar..
roy-Hopkins 2 was just rubbish. Con man Hops refused a 60-40 offer made by roy in the early 2000s instead punk had to wait nearly a decade to get it on when roy was shot to shit.. To this day u ask Hops about the fight and he'd act as if he accmoplished something great. Even against a shell of Roy, u guys remember how pathetic he acted? fukin guy is rubbish
Mayweather-Judah- I thought that Zab had Floyd in real trouble at one point and deserved a rematch.
De La Hoya-Quartey- Close fight, exciting fight, why not a second time
Ali V Foreman

Eubank v Benn III
La Starza Marciano 3.
Or at the very least La Starza 2 should have been an instant rematch instead of the 3 and a half year wait.
Not sure how many of you know this but La Starza Marciano 1 by today's rules would have been a draw, one judge gave it to La Starza, another to Marciano and the last one a Draw.
But back then, in New York, the ref got the deciding vote and he had Marciano up.
Quote:
referee: Jack Watson 5-5 | judge: Arthur Schwartz 5-4 | judge: Artie Aidala 4-5
Under New York's supplemental scoring system referee Watson had Marciano winning 9-6, so Marciano was awarded a split decision.
I agree, but I believe the rematch should have been right after the first one.
La Starza had 18 fights in 3 1/2 years between the Rocky fights, and he had 6 fights in the year leading upto the rematch including 5 tough 10 rounders.
So he was definitely battleworn. The instant rematch would have seen a better result and chance for him.
Naz should have rematched Barrera, sparked him the fuck out, and then gone on to spark the fuck out Morales and Marquez and Pac. Then step up in weight and spark the fuck out Floyd, actually Floyd would have ducked him.
Boxing history as we know it is completely bogus all because the rematch never happened. Damn shame.
