Watch the Bruno fight. Until Bruno gets tired and starts slowing he's out jabbing, out landing and hurting Lewis. Bowe could have kept that up.
Lewis is another fighter that struggles with combination punching and speed. He's fine and looks great against an opponent who is timid and only throws one shot at a time.

Pre-Emanuel Stewart Lewis looked poor when he was with Pepe Correra and was very beatable by Bowe. However it was Bowe who avoided Lennox by throwing the WBC title in the bin. He then wanted to fight Lewis when he saw how poor he was. Both lost fights when they were about to face one another. Lewis would always have Bowe’s number as he stopped him the Olympics’.
If bowe wanted to avenge his defeat to lewis in the Olympics he would have done whatever it took to get revenge in the pros.
His actions suggest something different. He ditched the belt once lewis was his mandatory and he didnt go near world class again for the rest of his career. Chose to fight herbie for a wbo title and retired in his 20s.
Had lewis not been around im sure bowe would have wanted to stay as champion although theres rumours he wanted no part of tyson either
