First fight in three weeks
Hey!
Im Three weeks out till first fight and I can't shake the nerves. I have trained for 10 weeks 3 days a week and have had about 5 sparing sessions. I am not sure if my nerves are natural or a sign that I am not ready.
Is this normal? I flip between thinking - fuck it, go all out the next three weeks, train hard and fight hard. That this is how you are meant to feel.
But sometimes I look back at my training and think I just havnt done enough. It doesn't help that the guy I'm fighting has taken part in one of these events before.
Its a White Collar event and the coach is managing lots of fighters and Im worried he is stretched too thin to notice. I am prepared to killit every day for the next three weeks but still feeling uneasy.
Any advice appreciated massively. Everyone knows about this fight and I really don't want to pull out.

in the next 2 weeks get your cardio maxed out with a mixture of sprints and some longer runs. talking 50 M and 100, sprints. last week take it easy and some liight cardio, light work, pad work, low contact sparring. this should help your confidence as most for these white collar things have utter shit for cardio and it will give you an edge.
enjoy. remember it's why you're doing it. or should be.
