Happy birthday to the man, the myth the legend that is Ricardo Lopez Nava aka. Finito.

As I've said for many years the closest thing to perfection as we will ever probably see in the ring. Technically sound, outstanding ring generalship and a tremedous puncher. If any flaws exsist they aren't too visible. Cuyo Hernandez's last creation whom was Ricarods orignal trainer. Beristain tightened things up and finalized the product.

Yes have to agree he was picture book perfect boxer who could punch. Unappreciated talent. Hope he is doing well in retirement.

Agreed, and he was psychic too. He knew how pissed I was waiting for Bruno/TysonII, so he decided to get 'less artistic' against Villamor and get the job done early, so I just about had enough left in me to watch the 'main event'...

He was the most relaxed , complete box fighter I have ever seen , power , speed , skill , movement , good chin , stamina to spare , here is a true ATG .

Lopez a true great, he may have been a small, but truly a giant in boxing wonderful skills
