Heavyweight Lucas Browne derails freight train

AUSTRALIA'S hulking giant Lucas "Big Daddy" Browne climbed from the canvas in Melbourne on Thursday night to derail massive American Travis "Freight Train" Walker in seven rounds and maintain his unbeaten record.

The 120kg Perth-based Browne (now 17-0, 15 KOs) set up a showdown with Brisbane’s world No.8 Alex Leapai, climbing from the deck in round one, to drop Walker in the third, fifth and sixth rounds. Walker’s corner retired their exhausted boxer at the end of the seventh.

Browne is a journeyman level fighter.
