Jesus Soto Karass appreciation thread
Jesus Soto Karass is the epitome of a ring warrior.
It's amazing after all the tough wars he's been in (sometimes against bigger, stronger fighters like Gabriel Rosado) how Soto Karass is able to come back and put on fine performances like his fight with Aydin and, still better, his win last night over Andre Berto.
Some of his family members were sitting behind me at ringside during his fight with Selcuk Aydin. I was cheering along with them during that fight.
Props to the courageous ring warrior Jesus Soto Karass. Viva Mexico! :thumb:

Fighters like Soto Karass are whats great about the sport, the foundation. Its really refreshing to see a grunt break through and upset the best layed plans of puffed up contenders, big headed promotions and just about everyone who give them no chance of doing so.

I forgot he beat Aydin too.
Remembered him putting gallant, game, but losing efforts to Rosado, Jones, and Maidana.
Karass is a poor man's Margarito, but with as much heart and more class just less talent.
I'd dare say beating Berto is the biggest win he'll get in the welterweight division and I hope it gets him a big payday.
Hell, Karass vs. Lopez would be dynamite.
I feel for Berto tho, man he got a beating, two in a row now.
