Why do British people underestimate the taste of a cheeseburger ???
I don't think the burger chains from the USA are really that popular in the UK
Mcdonalds
Burger King
Wendys
They simply have no interest in mankinds greatest invention, all it is is bread, cheese, and beef which is a simple recipe, yet you act like you're eating octupus.

Trash chains like that shouldn't be popular anywhere, it's a terrible thing that needs to stop. Anyone can make a better burger in 10 minutes without using anywhere near the garbage that goes into those frozen abortions anyways. I have no idea how popular or not burgers are in the UK that said:p, but it's just a type of sandwich everywhere has their tradition there. Why don't more Americans stop eating such rubbish is a better question.
Re: Why do British people underestimate the taste of a cheeseburger ???
If I'm having a burger I make my own, my friends are butchers so I buy my burgers off them,
cook the burgers, cheese etc good roll, really not interested in burger chain types not for me.

You are misinformed.
Mcdonalds and Burger King are very very popular here, especially Mcdonalds. It's not for me anymore but Mcdonalds is easily the most popular fast food place in the country.
Re: Why do British people underestimate the taste of a cheeseburger ???
I used to love fast foods when I lived alone but my girl doesn't allow it anymore. All organic now..
I still do grub on that greasy shit when Im out with the boys though.. How can anybody not enjoy Taco Bell once in a while? That new smothered Burrito is the shit. What about McDonald's Fillet Fish burger? c'mon .. And that Triple Baconator at Wendy's and Western Burger at Carl's Jr, forget about it.. U gotta have it sometimes..
Only fast food I can eat with my girl is In-In-Out.. I always get the 3x3 with raw onion + Grilled onion, and animal style fries.. This is some California shit all the way..
I feel bad for you Brits... Have ya tried In-In-Out?? it's like pussy with buns. It's the cleanest fast food out there..

When I grew up there was no McDonald's or Burger king, (except maybe in London) but we had our own version called Wimpys. It was horrible. The drive in McDonald's is a new thing here and something we could probably do without. Fast food is bad enough for your health without taking away the simple exercise of walking in and out of the place :-P. It's alright on a rare occasion but its usually disappointing and is really unhealthy stuff on the whole.
Speaking of fish n chips.. I love them. Was it Scotland that has the best Fish N Chips?
Re: Why do British people underestimate the taste of a cheeseburger ???
In ters of same store growth, McDonalds is almost certainly the most lucrative franchise business in the UK. There is a McDonalds on every corner, it is HUGE in the UK!!
I love a PROPER cheeseburger. A really high quality Cheesburger in a restaurant beats almost anything for me!

This is like that thread from back in the day when that USA fella thought we didn't get the same movies over here.
Re: Why do British people underestimate the taste of a cheeseburger ???
We're a crazy country
No sex
No (universal) dentists
No McDonalds and Burger Kings (everywhere)
...at least according to people who have never been here.
We don't have Wendy's, we have AMPLE McDonalds and Burger Kings, but even if we didn't - those places don't fucking serve food anyway.
You call that plastic shit they sell a burger?!

I think chicken is the big type of fast food in England at the moment. I mean chicken shops are every where and the main burger at Burger King is the chicken royale.
