GGG Golovkin VS Curtis Stevens signed for Nov 2nd in NY

Signed, sealed, and delivered. I don't think this is going to be the war that people expect. I think its going to be a great exhibition of Golovkin showing his superior boxing skills as he picks apart Curtis en route to a TKO finish.

Thoughts?

GGG early. No doubt in my mind.

Stevens should sell out for the power early and hope he lands or he's going to get hammered on like a shiny nail.

Perfectly said. Stevens is not known for his boxing IQ but I hope he knows this much. It might be the worst thing in boxing to play mongoose and cobra with Golovkin if you don't have absolutely superb boxing skills. Stevens has to go all out early.

Golovkin isn't hard to find and if they start trading and turn it into a brawl early, anything can happen.

Golovkin's chin is going to be tested here.

Agreed with both. Aren't you big fan of the former Chin Checker, Curtis Stevens?

Let's see how GGG plays this. He might box for the first few rounds, and not open up much, or he might go for the kill early. If Stevens tests GGG's chin, credit to Stevens. If GGG knocks him out without being tested, credit to GGG.

I like Stevens, but I still feel like he's a prospect.

Feels a little rushed into this title opportunity.

Yea agree but I guess his team think another loss before a step up would en his career so take a payday while they can. I would say he could beat Barker or Geale with that power. Shame GGG is gonna ruin him
