Name stances and what they are for?

how do you call these stances by Floyd (in blue)?

What they are for?

I label the first stance - low Philly shell. This stance in amateurs seems invincible against long range attacks unless the opponent also gets low? What attack opportunities it provides?

The second stance I labeled as modern with high hands, Floyds uses it for the pull counter against the opponent's jab

Why switch stances?

My guess is to confuse your opponent, see what he is prepared to do and what not?
