Rigo returns in December.. HBO rejects Chris Avalos as an opponent

Who is out there for him??

Santa Cruz or Moreno if those two don't end up fighting each other, Jhonny Gonzales would be a great opponent as well. It's a shame HBO don't seem to care about Rigo or any of those fights could get made I'm sure. If those guys are all with showtime or w/e Rigo should just jump ship as soon as he can as well. HBO boxing is becoming a joke imo.

Joseph Agbeko is the front runner to face Rigo!!! Besides Santa cruz, Agbeko is probably the toughest challenge out there for Rigo..

Donaire is a FW now so he dont count..

Hmm, not a bad fight I guess. Hadn't heard anything of Agbeko since he fought Mares twice, assuming he hasn't gotten any better its a good chance for Rigo to shine imo.

I don't have a problem with Avalos being rejected

It seems like a dark cloud follows Rigo around, before Nonito he had some kind of contractual problem, now that he has beaten Nonito-- no one HBO likes, is banging on his door.
What's the problem, have any ideas?

Agbeko isn't a bad fight for Rigo at all.

Rigo should fight whoever HBO want him to fight and be thankful they are interested in him.

Once again Hbo is acting like a pseudo boxing commission. The dont want this guy near a broadcast. Shit his own promoter doesn't. If not for what is no doubt an Arum slave contract Rigo I am sure would jump to Gbp in a heart beat.
