It's a good matchup between old versus young. Assuming sergio is the same fighter after those two surgeries, I believe he's too fleet footed and quick fisted for canelo who needs a stationary target. Canelo doesnt know how to punch on the move . He needs to set his foot to throw effective shots and sergio wouldnt be there for him..
Martinez looked terrible last time out. The phrase "growing old overnight" is often used but seldom witnessed. Getting injured in every fight and his legs looked gone even in the Chavez fight. He started boxing late in life and I think his cycling career has maybe come back to haunt him. I'm not sure that he gets past Cotto should it occur.Quote:

If Martinez has knee issues cycling is the best way to improve it.
I don't think Alvarez has that raging desire in his gut to the legs of Martinez. Martinez may be showing some holes but they are not big enough for Canelo to climb through, no way. Too big, too mobile and too Martinez. You ease up and play along with Mayweather, I kinda get that, but Trout..I'll never understand what he thinking there.

I believe it would go just like the Martinez-Chavez Jr fight went. I dont think he is shot. He was poor againt Murray but I dont think he trained as hard for that fight as he did against Chavez or he would against Canelo. I also think being his 1st fight in Argentina in so long the occasion got to him a bit. Also, apparently the ring was terribly slippy which again would be something to go against him

I think Canelo tried to pressure Floyd but the tosser moved too quick. Agreed Saul could have pressured more but that is easier said than done with Mayweather.
