Stephen Smith will fight on the Froch vs Groves undercard after signing for Matchroom | Sky Sports

Derry Mathews is taking the international route after switching promoter | Sky Sports

Stephen Smith left Warren to sign for Matchroom and will fight on the undercard to Froch vs. Groves.

Looks like Mathews won't be fighting Kevin Mitchell anytime soon. I'm not sure this is the greatest move as the big name domestic fighters are with Matchroom and while I like Derry, I can't see him competing above this level.

Can't really blame Matthews as he made a wise choice .. He would have got that ass beat by Kevin and dropped back down to his journeyman status..

despite matchroom having all the fighters Boxnation seems to be a very good place to be to me
