Re: Marquez-Bradley Purses
Lomanchenko rushed right into a BIG title fight. Is that possible? I guess so. Good luck to him.
Re: Marquez-Bradley Purses
The guy Lomanchenko is fighting, is he any good?

396 -1 as an amateur. Breezed through the Olympics and the WSB. Pretty good jump to Ramirez right out of the gate.

His only loss to date was from a Russian called Albert Selimov in the World Amatuer Championships. He avenged those losses on two separate occasions- blowing Selimov away each time.
Will Selimov turn pro? Please say YES HE WILL!!

He's ok. He's only lost a few in 25 and recently beat Rey Bautista but his ledger is no screaming hell.
Still a big jump for ones first pro fight though.
Not sure why its scheduled as a 10 rounder. It should be 12 with Ramirez's INT strap on the line.
Re: Marquez-Bradley Purses
Just watched Lomachenko/Selimov 2...The guy is a good amateur fighter; with 400 fights it will be in terseting to see if he can break some amateur habits he has. He slaps a lot with his punches but he really has no choice because his feet are so far apart that he can't get his weight turned when he punches.
I know that is the style these days but it is still true. he does something to compensate that will get him in trouble at some point in his career. Watch him fight; he does one of two things when he pulls inside. He'll either have his gloves up and fall in, accepting the clinch standing straight up. If he intends to fight inside, he brings his left foot up and gets really really square to his opponent. Ask Pac how that (eventually) works out...
With his feet that wide he can play games, pulling back and such. A smart guy will walk up on him; he can't get much on his punches like that. Make him square up, then time him.
That may be harder than it looks; I thought marquez would time Pac in their first fight.

Nice to see Bradley earning good money, he took the risk of taking on Manny and it has literally paid off.

Definitely, salido is being underpaid for somebody who is a former champ and has done things..
Cruz I feel is overpaid. Wtf has he done besides announcing how he takes it balls deep and polluting the sport.
