Lee Purdy to get European Welterweight Title Shot on 14th December

Leonard Bundu has agreed to a voluntary defence against Lee Purdy. He was due to defend against Gianluca Branco, but looks as though Branco has taken step aside money so Purdy gets his shot. Winner must defend against Branco next. I'm surprised this has been allowed to happen given Purdy's issues with making the Welterweight limit.

I'm surprised Gianluca Branco is still around, he was pretty old when Gatti and Cotto beat him up years ago if I remember. Don't think Purdy has any chance of being a real contender at any weight, he isn't good enough to get big fights imo.
