How would this play out and would froch be too long for Hopkins ?
I'd say Hopkins because you can never safely bet against the guy. Every recent fight he has lost has been by razor thin decision.
But froch isn't an easy guy to beat, he is quite aggressive up close but just would be interesting to see how it would play out tactically !!
I think that Froch would beat him now. I didn't think much of him at first, but after several viewings, I think that froch is fairly clever in the ring, at least when I have watched him. When Hopkins was 31, I think he would win fairly easily.
If you watch froch now compared to 2004 he seems quite static though more dominant and dangerous, never quite understood why this is, he was more like prince Naseem years ago
I think Froch would, but I've been wrong so much about Hopkins...I know one thing for sure Froch would not let Hopkins get away with any sneaky dirty fighting.Quote:

Tough to call this...Hopkins would make it so ugly it wouldn't be pretty to watch.
I don't know about that. In the US, I wouldn't bet on the judges getting any decision right. Even when the right guy wins, one or two of the cards are "off".Quote:
