Assuming you've weighed in. I usually suggest carbs, apples, bananas, and granola. You want slow burning GI.
he may also wish to consider how long from weigh in to fight. every fighter I've read about seems to have a different routine, not sure how scientific they get :)
I'm at heavyweight so it doesn't matter the weight !
Eat a balanced meal or two with some good starchy carbs, but nothing that you don't usually eat in case it hampers you, you don't want to be trying any new foods on the day of I'd imagine. What time do you expect to actually be fighting? Even just oatmeal with some fresh fruit, nuts or seeds, maybe some egg whites etc would be a good breaky, maybe later on a chicken breast or some fish with brown rice and green veggies. Make sure you are drinking lots of water obviously.
Im not trainer but dont eat pasta the GI/GL is alot higher than most people think, its a bit like eating white bread, Id go for Yams (not overcooked)
Or oats.
A multi vitamin n mineral tablet.
And a cheap tin of oily fish like pilchards
and some spinich on the side
drink something with electrolytes in it
take a testosterone supplement too (nothing that will get you disqualified no roids i mean bodybuilding stuff)
Dont jack off too close to a fight either
