Whats that weird overhand leaning in cross punch I keep seeing?

So its like a straight right punch but they are leaning in with their body to throw it, it gets longer range they do this wierd curve with their back or just launch their body straight but forward.

Ive seen pacman do it, but I think he does it to get points and range and not to go for a KO, but ive seen guys do it for max power as if thats the most powerful way to cross!?

WTF is that thing?

Watch what Pac is doing in that video...He is 'jabbing' with his left hand. he isn't really committing much to it, just popping it out there. I've thought all along that his real power shot was his right hook, and he seems to be setting kit up. I think. In any case he is just jabbing with the left.
he is getting out of the way, bending to his right, to avoid counters.

I thought you said never to lean in chin first grey? Otherwise your chin is exposed and you are vunerable to uppercuts etc?

How come you said his head is out of the way and safe despite him leaning in?

Also waht is Fedor the other guy doing?

What Pac is doing, he gets his head outside of the other guy's left hand/left foot. He can't get hit there; the same reason an orthodox fighter would circle to his right. You are out of range, until and unless he picks his feet up and turns himself.
The second video was just a right hand over a lazy left. Same principle as throwing a right cross over an opponent's jab. The black guy was real lazy with his left hand and the other guys timed it real nice and really got his weight into the punch.
