When will the inevitable Mayweather/Keith Thurman fight happen?
September 2014 @ MGM Grand. Book it. By then, Thurman will have a couple more notable wins on his resume. Plus, he's got the mouthpiece.
It's not as if there are many other options for Floyd anyway. People can argue that Keith won't be ready at that time, but we all know that doesn't matter much in boxing when it comes to big paydays. They'll push for this one.
Re: When will the inevitable Mayweather/Keith Thurman happen?
This fight isn't lucrative... not even on the radar. Why would this be a fight?
If anyone of the young guns, it may as well be Danny Garcia.
Anyone other than Garcia and Manny is a wash. Even Bradley... no good in seeing Tim vs. Floyd.

Total agree.. I dont think Thurman will ever get good enough or grow his star power to a point where a FLoyd fight becomes inevitable. He's apparently a better boxer than I thought he was but i dont see anything exceptional from him..
He beat Diego Chavez who nobody gives a shit about and Karass with 7 losses.. Anybody half decent are supposed to beat guys like Karass..
I just dont see anything in his game that puts him above his peers like Gurrero, Garcia, Porter etc... He's just one of many..

Garcia will be the new guy after Floyd. The new American smaller-weight star.
