AHHHH..... NFL playoff time approaches
I love Christmas for the reason all of us love Christmas. But an added bonus is the onset of the NFL playoffs. Nothing like settling in front of the big screen with some beer and munchies, and watching high-stakes football. Could we ask for better games than Bears-Packers and Eagles-Cowboys.... both with "win-or-go-home" implications.
My only beef is that it's too short. Before you know it, we're getting ready for the Super Bowl and sometimes the game itself is anti-climatic. Luckily, the quality of the game has been consistently good over the last few years. But there used to be some one-sided snoozers.
It's difficult to predict who will win it all this year. But a pretty good bet for the Super Bowl would be Broncos-Seahawks. I'd love to see the Patriots do well, 'cause I've always been a Tom Brady fan. Teams that have surprised to me are the Bengals, the Chiefs, and the Panthers. The Chiefs owe a lot to Andy Reid, who IMO should be named Coach of the Year.
Anyway..... are you ready for some football?!?!?
Re: AHHHH..... NFL playoff time approaches
Most definitely ready for some football. I am amped up for the playoffs as I don't have a remote clue how it will play out. I think Reid could win coach of the year but I think that Bruce Arians might get it again even though the Cardinals might not make the playoffs. He has dealt with a lot of injuries and the fact that the team is currently 10-5 is impressive to me. This is the first year where I can't even pick a favorite because it is just so competitive.

We have football over the Christmas period, the matches come thick and fast which is great.
Footballers hate it but they are paid more money in one week than we earn in 5 years, so they can work hard over Christmas for my entertainment.
