Happy New Year to you all!

This year has had its ups and it has had its downs for many of us and it is customary for many of us to reflect and ponder at this time of year, before glancing upwards and peering into the eery ether of the future. And so a thread to wish a Happy New Year to you all.

To my lovers, my haters, my doubters, my muses, the JFAT alliance, the Baggin's Clan etc. Whatever has passed, has passed, it is time to move on and discover fields of green and to lay in grass and gaze upwards at the sun and shout out in a loud voice 'Bloody hell! What does this all mean? Why is the grass green, Sun?' Then the distant flutter of wings and a chirrup of bird song. I would shout to the birds 'Birds, your song is great and I say that with no trace of irony for I am re-born unto this world'. The birds would all grin at me and on and on it will go. It is 2014 and nature is everything.

2014 is going to be the greatest year since sliced bread, which I am sure even the doubters would agree, was a pretty significant year. I can feel the buds of spring beginning to bloom. Are they seeds of discontent too? As a Wizard I mustn't peer too deeply and just accept what is.
