No judgement, I'm just interested in your opinions.
America was a nation established under God with Jesus as a king
Eventually, America got corrupted and transformed into spritual Sodom and Egypt, ruled by Satan
Re: To my fellow Americans
There's a difference in what being American means to ME and what it actually means right now.
Right now it means surveillance, constant skirmishes with an inferior foe, ignoring debt, ignoring real problems, always playing politics, and never solving problems.
To ME being an American means self reliance but also being there for your neighbor, it means liberty, it means freedom, it means personal responsibility. It means though I may be different than my neighbors we stand together when it comes to each other's rights. And it SHOULD mean that as little government as possible is needed for our success.
Re: To my fellow Americans
I find it a hollow word. I don't identify with it at all.
Re: To my fellow Americans
Being American means you rule the world.

No but that is what I would have said. :)

Is it? If you were American you'd probably have a different mindset, but that's just my take.

You may be right but from the outside looking in, that is what I say.

No, you have gone deep enough. :)
Re: To my fellow Americans
Individuality and to be self sufficient and just as quickly being as stupid and light hearted with the time and rewards gained from doing so as I wish with who I wish. America is not a flag, its not a slogan or some list of regulations and increasing laws hatched and enforced by old white men based on some doctrine. At least it shouldn't be. The freedom to do with mine what I will and understanding responsibility when doing so.
Re: To my fellow Americans
America is a decent place. We have a lot of bullshit with the NSA things that make us disappointed in ourselves. I would like to see our government pay attention to the constitution. I didn't vote for Obama so I didn't like him to begin with but I did not expect this to go so off the wire with him.
I guess all this shit will come to pass. We do have a big beautiful country with a lot of decent people. We still have people come here with nothing and become successful. I think most of our positives are not even brought up in world news anymore. It's alright, we are not naive, we live here. We as a people are good people. Currently, our politicians are worthless. But our diversity, the freedoms we still manage to keep and the Boston Red Sox make this a great country. Baseball, Apple pies, Chevrolets a nice rifle and Marlboro cigs, God, America is the shit.
