Channel 5 boxing has a future!
I was speaking to Peter Fury on twitter and I asked about the situation with both furys fighting on boxnation will this be the end of the boxing on channel 5. Peter said that channel 5 are stepping up major and will still feature Both furys. Im glad to hear this news really because I thought channel 5 coverage could have been on the way out.

Good to keep some boxing on free tv in the UK, the fights aren't always blockbuster but for nothing I like the quality and they're decent domestic matchups. God only knows a lot of the fighters that are usually on channel 5 need more of that sort of exposure.
Re: Channel 5 boxing has a future!
This is good news, like Bo-bo said it isn't usually big name fights, but the fact that they are showing boxing on free-to-air TV is definitely a good thing, and it has brought exposure to some decent fighters and seen some nice matchups so far too. I doubt we'll see Tyson Fury fighting on there again, but good to see its still going to be continuing.

I like Kid Galahad and Eubank junior. Throw in Hughie fury and that will do. Also De Gale.

Im interested in what DeGale does next, if Tyson Fury flies the nest and doesn't fight on Channel 5 again what does that say about their ambitions and the type of reputation fighters that are shown on there? DeGale has been quite vocal recently about how he wants to move forward but can he achieve that whilst on Channel 5?
