yeah people were different back then, werent they? Its funny to see the difference, this was only 54 years ago.

I miss that, the pre-Ali days, when fighters behaved with class and dignity instead of like pro wrestlers selling a gimmick.

class and dignity---when you watch Archie Moore or Rocky or Walcott or Joe Louis talk, you get a really good feeling, you respect human beings and you feel warm to your fellow humans. There was no malice, there was no hate, there was no unsportsmanlike trash or rubbish talking. When Marciano won the title, you should see his postfight interview and then compare that to cassius clay's postfight after beating Liston. Its high-class vs class-LESS. And that explains the fall of human society over the past 50 years. It went from classy Archie Moore to trashy Mike Tyson. 50 short years. It went from Frank Sinatra to Beyonce, it went from Buddy Holly to 50 Cent.

We are in the dark Ages again. It went from Dwight Eisenhower to Barack Obama.

The scary thought is if he fought today he'd probalby fight at 175. Imagine what Rock could do in the LHW division, it would be bloody murder.
