No at this stage it is not a step up. Holt is a 140lber and is best days are behind him. Brook needs to be fighting solid Welterweights right now. Look at Thurman's level of opposition. That is were he needs to be at this year.
I agree, Brook needs to be fighting that level. Even Bailey would be a step up from Holt :-X:pQuote:

I agree Brook needs to step up the comp and I really like Holt ;D but I think opponents like Berto/ Cano/ Jo Jo/ Rios would do more for Brook than a Holt fight :-\Quote:

That said, Brook hasn't fought anyone from what I've seen and Holt has the ability to knock him out with that left hook.
