so who will groves fight for the vacant ibf belt ......
Glad this has happened , I think Froch will fight him ;)
it is a natural rematch , the fans wanna see it so bad , I think it will make more money ppv this time.
I'm really happy with the IBF.
They didn't do the usual rules are rules, ref makes the final call bullshit.
They actually reviewed the fight, like boxing fans and decided on what was fair.
+1 IBF
I just checked IBF rankings and numbers 1 and 2 are not rated..?
So if Froch swerves it and loses the belt wtf happens next???

I think Groves would have been better off letting Froch fight Chavez. Froch would win, maybe get some higher profile in america and then get the rematch and beat the higher profile Froch with a few extra miles on the clock.
In the mean time he should fight Periban. Get a good competetive 12 rounder out the way to get used to the distance. He may even lose that fight. Whatever Groves does in training, he needs to change as he was tired from the 6th and slowed.
I thought maybe they would make Groves fight Oosthuizen and then I read this
Thomas Oosthuizen crashes bicycle, dropped by promotor - ESPN
So that probably ain't gonna happen. I do not think that Froch will want to lose the chance of redeeming his bruised reputation and neither him or Groves will want to miss the chance of such a big pay day and an opportunity for what could be the biggest domestic boxing match ever. The stipulations that Groves is unhappy with may well be an attempt by Hearn trying to tie Groves into a promotional deal he does not want and I can understand his point, but Hearn will make him money and probably is the best guy for the Job in the UK. While I applaud Groves trying to be independent and go it alone there is only so much you can do without big money leverage and TV deals behind you.
Unfortunate for Carl but it had to happen sooner later so he might aswel get it out the way now.
Let's hope we don't get a crap ref like last time, cuz we don't need another controversial ending but saying that I'm sure a groves win would result in a decider.
Under what premise is this rematch ordered?!!?
See why we can't take boxing councils seriously?!?! Because "they" feel or the "fans" order a fight, doesn't mean a fight should be made.
There are a lot of guys lining up to get a Froch fight. Groves was, in fact, LUCKY to land a fight with a payday, at that stage, against Froch.
Hearns says it is about the money, this decision does not really mean anything. He says this means champion gets 85% of the purse and he has offered Groves more than what he would get. Groves has turned it down, he wants more.
