Haha, I have no idea what shrove Tuesday is, but I made some potato pancakes for breakfast and they were delish. I added some lemon zest, fresh parsley and smoked paprika to the batter and had them with a couple of poached eggs, sour cream and spicy applesauce on the side. Do I win the thread??
for me it was 'Shroom Tuesday so I ate a few caps.
Must have been Shiva Tuesday here I've had Indian the last three days. :p
I had totally forgotten that pancakes existed, so I appreciate the reminder. I didn't have any, but if I were to make some, a simple dash of sugar and lemon is all they would need.
Wheat pancakes topped with maple banana & chopped mango...kind of defeats the Wheat, but who really gives a fawk.

I didn't even know it was pancake day yesterday, don't think i've had one since I was a kid, remember my mum would let me and my brother flip them over, the little sod would blatantly be trying to hit the kitchen ceiling. Good memories. ;D

We used to put mixed berries, blue black and raspberries from the frozen packs you can buy and good quality ice cream ,roll em up,mung em down.fresh berries is better but you want to have them whenever. Frozen packaged ones are cheaper out here for some reason:confused:
