Who should Wilder fight, then?
Who would we want to pay Deontay Wilder, at least, $250k to get in the ring with- since you guys says he doesn't want to fight anyone with a pulse.
Who's willing to get in the ring with him for $100k- someone who we say is someone that he has NOT called out or asked to be in a fight with??
Name the guy... or guys...
Re: Who should Wilder fight, then?
David Price would be a good opponent for him.

Probably not, it is good money but he would earn more in the long run by fighting bums until he moved up this level, where he would probably get destroyed anyway.
Re: Who should Wilder fight, then?
Then who else, realistically, do we feel Wilder should fight...
He called out Arreola and Fury... they don't want it...
Who else?

Fury and Arreola are in the top 10 and will not risk losing the spot. Wilder was offered a fight by Tyson and he turned it down. Wilder should fight helenius or even adamek.
Re: Who should Wilder fight, then?
They're not going to do anything of substance because frankly Gb has maneuvered him into a top rating for Vitalis dropped trinket by facing no top contenders. If Arreola and Stiverne sort out he'll waltz in through the backdoor and be given a title shot. Go back and watch 15-20 of his matches. Some are quite comical and a few literal flop jobs. Style wise I wanted to see him with maybe a Solis.
Re: Who should Wilder fight, then?
Tony Thompson would be good for him.
Alexander Dimitrenko
Cunningham
Adamek
Solis

It was the Fury camp that turned the fight down.... Helenius looks like a dud and will not fight another top tier guy because of his health...
Re: Who should Wilder fight, then?
Wilder is already facing Malik Scott in the eliminator... and if he beats him, then what should he do? Nothing else aside from fight for the title- and with that, a real top HW. And then when he wins that, he will have a target on his back and truly can't run from the top HW's.
So if it is a dud in waiting, we have no more than 2, maybe, 3 fights, before we find out what Wilder is all about- even if he wins a trinket vs. Arreola or Stiverne.
I don't feel Pulev, Thompson, Wlad, Haye, Fury, Boystov, Povetkin, Jennings, etc.... are just gonna let him just sit there and fight non ranked fighters or fighters not in the top ten. The WBC would not allow it... he would have to drop the belt. And why come all this way to vacate the belt or be stripped??
Re: Who should Wilder fight, then?
I would not mind Wilder fighting Wlad.
Re: Who should Wilder fight, then?
Wilder has fought bums, been carefully managed and is getting a title shot, for Vitali's old strap, which is looking increasingly worthless.

Wlad ain't goin' no where right now... so he may very well end up fighting Wlad, even if we think he's hyped up.
With that being said: I would have taken Wilder THEN when Wlad fought Mormeck, Pianetta, Thompson 2 and Wach. And certainly would take Wilder over Leapai.
