Kell Brook- a PLEASANT throwback to the good ol'e days!
I like Brook. A good throwback to the ol'e days when orthodox fighters came in to box and fight....
But, it's too much of a throwback- that left hand is REALLY low. He can get tagged with counter-right hands. Be careful...
But, a showdown with the Porter/Mallinaggi fight is well in reach. In fact, he should be the mandatory for the winner of that fight.

Nah man... Brook isn't super spectacular... but he is a solid classic. A solid classical fighter.
;D
Re: Kell Brook- a PLEASANT throwback to the good ol'e days!
He'll end up being a UK version of Joey Gamache. He'll probably pick up a couple of bogus, paper titles and call himself champion. But he'll never beat anyone that's really good

Well, he is a world title challenger at the next sitting... I feel he can outwork Mallinaggi. I don't know about Porter. Porter may be a flash in the pan. We will see after his fight with Mallinaggi.

Brooks will beat Porter or Paulie.

Very nice on the fight challenge. You nailed this week.
Anyway I think he may beat either but he chirped off like this prior to his bailouts with Alexander. Its hard to take the kat seriously and yet his talent is obvious. He may be a little soft in the noodle. I think Paulie might beat Porter or at least give it a good go but beating Paulie at this point does nothing for Brook and he said he'd prefer that fight. I think he has a confidence issue because he does not seem keen on fighting any kind of a real threat. Hearn mentioned venue for his title shot after Brooks last fight and yet Brook said he'd go anywhere. I don't buy that and judging by the rest of the interview it seems traveling would be contingent on who wins the Porter/Paulie fight. If jelly fist manages to get a points win then Brook would probably got to Vegas or NY but if Porter wins I bet they don't budge from Britain and the fight goes to purse bid.

If Brooks gets his title chance he will take it this time and win. He wants Khan and it would set up a great domestic clash.

Yes Brook V Khan a grudge match it would generate a lot of media and public interest, all in all a good fight, and they don't like each other what more can you ask.:)

This fight could be bigger than Froch v Groves.
