Juanma Vs Arce getting closer..
Arce is going to get retired in this fight.. straight murda
Any of u have any other ideas?
Re: Juanma Vs Arce getting closer..
two shot fighters, both should just cut their losses and walk away
Re: Juanma Vs Arce getting closer..
I cant believe Arce is still fighting really. Both are shot I agree, Juanma probably still has the size and power to make it a mismatch though. Not much interest in seeing that.
Re: Juanma Vs Arce getting closer..
The term " shot " is used to loosely nowadays... what exactly makes Juanma shot?
Fighters from the 40s used to get into wars all the time yet they were fine..
The human body is sturdier than we think and people dont get shot that easily.. everybody has different tolerance but I dont believe juanma is shot..
Its just that durability was never Juanma's strongpoint and Salido was able to exploit that weakness... he doesnt have the greatest chin so when he gets hit flush, it will always affect him but does that make him shot? No... it just means that he cant take too many hits..
Arce might be one of those sturdy ass guys too like jake lamotta.. look how much punishment Lamotta endured in his career yet he's doug fine today..
Based on recent showings, I dont think arce is shot either..
If arce loses, it simply because Juanma is a much bigger man with a bigger punch...
Being shot aint got nuthin to do with this matchup..

he has no real flow in his punches anymore, his speed and footwork is completely gone, he gets rocked by any punch that touches him, you look at the guy now and look at him 5 yrs ago and it's night and day, the guy is shot

If watching him against Mikey Garcia doesn't turn on the light bulb in someone's head about JuanMa being shot.... it's sure sign the breaker might be tripped.

Lopez just can't take a punch any more. Anything that hits him flush wobbles him. He gets that stupid look in his face and decides to let everyone knows he's hurt by waving his opponent in. He still his heart. But he no longer has skills to be a contender
Arce should of retired 10 years ago. He can still smash the C, D level fighters. The rest beat him. Lopez is pretty much a C, D fighter now a days. So the fight might be some what competitive
Re: Juanma Vs Arce getting closer..
This should be fun. Both guys are past their best but so were Ward and Gatti and look what they produced
