undefeated Luis Ortiz to face Monte Barrett... it is official 4/03

Hulk and I have been talking about this dude Barrett and I didnt even realize he's facing Ortiz...

He hasnt fought since 12' , I just hope he doesnt get hurt.. he probably needs the money.. some sad shit man..

Thoughts?

Pointless fight for me. I thought when he fought Haye in 2008 it was a waste of time too. Sad to see fighters having to fight on well past their best for money.

Did you see Shannon Briggs calling out Wlad? Like something out of Rocky. Another chap who must have spent all his money.

Speak of the devil and he shall appear. Good luck to Barrett, never heard of this Ortiz.

Poor Two Guns... they had better be paying him 60k and up for this fight. Anything less is ridiculous. If its straight up 60k and up, he wont train, but just show up and hope he doesn't get really hurt.

Ortiz hasn't impressed me but I think this is a mis-match.

Barrett is one of the true nice guys in boxing and I've always had a soft spot for him. He looks like a sad teddy bear all the time.

I wouldn't get mad if he took the fat white envelope under the table and took a dive.

But gbp probably don't have high hopes for luis ortiz so they aren't going to spend the extra cheese.

Odd, what happened to Ortiz v Povetkin fight for some meaningless trinket? Two gunz still being brought in to spring board hopefuls and hypes. Nope, this heavyweight division isn't in trouble at all :-X

The only organization mandating fighters to fight is the WBC.... everyone else is meaningless.
