Bah, Mayweather Promotions, TMT, The Money Team, whatever the f*<k he calls it, it's not even a real promotion as far as I know. You gotta get a license to promote fights in Nevada, and I don't believe Mayweather Promotions have a license to promote fights. Did they finally get a license yet? Correct me if anyone knows otherwise.
As it is, without a license, Mayweather Promotions is but more smoke-and-mirrors from the Master of that, put those huge Mayweather Promotions banners and posters up at his fights, give the impression he's the savvy businessman/promoter running the show, but he's not: Goldenboy is the Real promoter.

It's a tax-shelter or something, gives him some advantages of some kind for putting his paydays through this lame company, but Mayweather Promotions clearly isn't a real licensed professional boxing promotion, just more smoke-and-mirrors from Lil Floyd.

Floyd had to come up with two or three million to start their joint company off but didn't come up with the money. 50 cent says Haymon has Floyd on a daily allowance because if he had total access to his money he'd be broke.

Of course, Mayweather Promotions are just a sub divison of Goldenboy. When Mayweather says he's his own boss he conveniently forgets the bigger picture and the cogs and wheels of the boxing business.
