The next bout of Japanese Olympic Middleweight champion Ryota Murata (3-0, 3) was announced earlier today in a Teiken press conference in Tokyo.

The announcement was that Murata's next bout will be a 10 round Middleweight contest that will take place on May 22nd at the Shimazu Arena in Kyoto.

Sadly with the bout announced to take place just 5 and a half weeks away you can probably guess that the opponent wasn't a big name one instead it will be Mexican Jesus Angel Nerio (12-3, 6).

Something About murata I really like. I know he's still green and he may not be good enough to get rushed like Inoue but I like his attitude inside the ring. He's aggressive and doesnt mind taking a lick to land his own but he goes about it in a controlled manner..

I see a lot of potential in him. I already like him more than the likes of quillin and ggpunk..
