Few thoughts regarding Floyd-Bradley 2
- Pac definitely isnt the same fighter which shouldnt be a surprise..
- Bradley just might be the toughest fighter in Boxing today.. This fight made me respect him.. I actually like him now..
It's probably a combination of age, wear and tear, and the devastating KO loss by Marquez, but I saw a different Pacman even in victory.. Infact, I felt like Pac was holding back out of fear of getting caught or maybe he just couldnt pull the trigger as he did years ago..
Pac had many opportunities to land especially when Bradley was against the ropes but for some reason, he refused to let his hands go.. Not saying he performed badly but the old Pacman definitely wouldnt have let those chances go by.. There were openings and the distance was just perfect within punching distance yet he just stood there..
Roach also said the same thing after the fight.. One would've expected him to be satisfied with this victory but he has mixed feelings and said the performance wasnt satisfying..
Pac doesn't have it anymore and he's lucky that Bradley wasn't a puncher.. Marquez would knock him out again ..
Re: Few thoughts regarding Floyd-Bradley 2
I think Manny will beat JMM this time. However they are all inferior to Floyd.
Re: Few thoughts regarding Floyd-Bradley 2
Yeah Pac has been slipping, but to Pac's credit he's so great that even an 80% Pac will whip most guys he will fight around his weight.
Floyd would smash him at this point though.
Re: Few thoughts regarding Floyd-Bradley 2
Even when I knew Pac was up on the cards, I felt kind of sad for some reason.. Even though he's been gradually slippin for awhile, his decline really showed in this fight.. As I said before, it's probably both physical and mental but this wasn't the same Pacquiao..
I saw a great fighter getting old in there..

I agree with most of your comments finito but would you have liked bradley if he won?
I think if pac fights marquez again and wins that would be a nice fight to retire on..but if I was marquez I would avoid pac and leave the book closed for his legacy where he can join chavez and barrerra and many other mexican greats..
Yes.. Win or lose, Bradley would have grown on me just the same.. It's weird because there are times where I would get touched and become a fan regardless of the outcome.. It's about the manner in which they fought..
I was never a fan of Juanma Lopez until I saw the salido rematch.. even in defeat, his performance touched my heart and I was sold..
I felt exactly the same on Saturday night.. Bradley showed character, this guy fought his heart out and im sold. I thought he would he would box and run but he proved me wrong..
I dont see anybody beating Bradley except for Floyd and Pacman.. Everybody else are like two notches below Bradley..
BTW I agree that Marquez should look elsewhere even though I believe he'd win again.. That KO was like a fairy tale ending and things like that should just be left as memory... Marquez ended the rivalry as far as im concerened..
