James Toney is incredible and I will always love him, but he hasn't won a top fight in a long time now. It has become a little like Don Quixote and for sure I was a loyal Sancho, but I want Toney to be well and look after himself and boxing at this age isn't going to do that. If he wanted to be world champion he should have been more active a few years ago. He wasn't and couldn't do it and so it is over.

I am of the JFAT alliance for life, but boxing has been done now. No fighter wins no big fights for year after year and then walks into a big fight. You have to earn it to some degree and Toney hasn't.

James Toney, when he was in shape and motivated, was one of the greatest fighters in history. He could do it all in the ring. He's one of the few guys that won viciously, but also with beautiful craft.

Toney was a top fighter and one of the best chins in history , however he is now an old punch drunk shadow of his former self who likes the sound of his own voice. Very sad indeed.

They left out the best one, James clowning Eubank and Benn. James had them shook even though he was on a different continent.

They both would have caught beatdowns from James.

Tremendous talent...horrible discipline. But the fact that he still could be such a good boxer despite his weight/conditioning issues is a testament to his great skill set.

Love Toney, so much that it has to kept real. But it must kill that peanut butter gurgled throated fool watching Hopkins still on the top of his game. I mean come on. There is a huge difference and respect when you talk shit and clown but can still fight than there is just being a bitter old dude with a Kimbo beard full of pancake crumbs.

Toney's old and brain damaged now, but prime Toney was amazing to watch.

Bernard is NOT an ATG fighter.. Ive seen too many great fighters in my lifetime to not be able to recognize one and Bernard isn't that guy...

When I think of great fighters, Ray Leonard, Finito Lopez, Marquez, McCallum, and Robinson comes to mind.. Bernard comes nowhere close to these men..

Only thing impressive about this man is the fact that he's performing well at an old age. That's his only gimmick. So fuckin what? Is he exciting as a boxer? not at all..
