Local Boy Makes Good

Dick Tiger vs Roger Rouse. Rouse was from Anaconda, Montana, which is 25 miles from here. He was pretty good; he fought Bob Foster, too. Not a bad fight and you might not see it otherwise. Roger Rouse died years after this fight but I think it was the 6th round punch in the stomach that killed him. BTW, growing up in Anaconda, and Butte, especially back then, you had to know how to fight. Just like any other place full of poor people.
