You'd think he would need one good win on his ledger before he gets a shot at Pac but at least he's better than Rios.

That sounds like a better plan, Rant... marquez followed by canelo but the problem is, he would lose to both, let alone Marquez...
Marquez fight will always be a war and he would be putting alot of tax on his body and for him to move up to face another killer in canelo after is kind of nuts!
Call me crazy but if pac does face Canelo after marquez, I believe he would get beat into retirement...
