Mayweather just had his Jones-Tarver I

I see a lot if similarities between the two fights. The p4p best getting battered on the ropes, in between winning rounds in the center of the ring.

I'm a huge Jones fan and still insist he won that fight 115-113 or so. However, not being as crazy about Floyd and seeing this one differently, I can see the controversy over that first Jones - Tarver match.

It also appears the writing is in the wall for Floyd to get out soon before Jones - Tarver 2 happens to him. Not that Maidana would do that, but another young hungry lion could.

Based on styles, I think Porter might be able to beat him...

That's a good thought. Ya gotta maul Floyd from the start.

Easier said then done though once he blasts you a few times. Most guys don't have the mentality of Maidana.

He roughed Floyd up big time n didn't want to touch gloves or play his role.

So do you think Maidana will beat him in a rematch? It probably a bit extreme now to think Porter/Thurman can beat Floyd now?

Next time Floyd might have a better head start from round one because he'll have figured him out after this fight. And he won't go toe to toe, that's for sure.

It was the first time in a while since I saw him worried before the cards were read out.
