Haha you all wish! But suppose that was the next fight coming up. Would it be the one sided victory for Mayweather that many boxing experts and objective fans have predicted after last nights performance? Pacquiao dances circles around maidana but doesn't bring the size strength or activity anymore. To me it's a closer fight after last night, how do you see it?
I think the rematch with Maidana will have Floyd going back to a safety-first style. To me it looked as if he really let himself get caught against the ropes and fight a lot inside. Foolish, and I doubt he'll do it next time if there is a rematch.
After last night he would/should do the same with Pac. I still think he'd beat him.
I feel Floyd will still be big favourite against Pac but it underscores how necessary that fight is now!
I'd need to see the rematch to know if the outcome of a Pac fight has changed. He used almost no lateral movement. The few times he moved laterally Maidana was lost. Generally he backed straight to the ropes right in front of Maidana. If he comes back in September and boxes circles around Maidana I'd still take Floyd. But there's no getting around the fact Floyds movement was crap last night. His balance wasn't great either. That's happened a couple times before though and it was sharp next time out. Hence the need to see if it was a one off or if his legs are gone. Either way I hope we see the fight.

I'm just putting it down to a bad showing that's all, no other explanation required. It just happens sometimes, nobody is always on their "A" game, that's life, sport and boxing.
I think Floyd will be far more agile and effective in the rematch personally.
