Doesn't seem to be any progress being made and there's only 5-6 days left to get this signed or it goes to purse bids.
I don't see any way Porter wins this with his reckless style and i think Brook will pick him apart and can bang him out pretty early.
Maybe Porter is stalling things

I think its going to purse bids. Neither party can sort out where they want the fight to be and Porter's team would be happy to fight someone else and earn as much money as they can whilst he holds a belt.Quote:

The thread title should have read, "Time is running out on Kell Brook" He's special K alright. A special Kase. Total waste of above average talent and investment. Brook is scared to fight anybody with a pulse. He was the mandatory challenger for a belt nearly four years ago and he's basically spent the last four years bottling out of any kind of meaningful fight.
We can all agree it's time for Brook to crap or get off the pot. In my opinion, it's a bad style match-up for Brook.
Brooks accurate and strong at the weight naturally and I think its Porter whos at a loss style wise.
Brooks been unlucky with injury and circumstances in the past but I think he's the real deal and have said for ages he'll win a title but he needs to do it now against Porter.
Really hope this fight goes ahead as Brook could be involved in some cracking matchups in the future.
Brook is more talented and skillful obviously but I think his team knows something that we dont cuz it's not normal for a talented fighter to get overprotected for 10 years..
Im a big fan of Brook's style though.
I just watched porter's last fight. The man is powerful at that weight, but very crude and does not know what to do with his legs. Porter is effective is he's fighting people that act like static punchbags, not the hit fast and move type. Brook has speed, good footwork and power.
Porter has to get lucky to catch him in order to win.

Wow. Can't see how anyone can say Porter is stalling. If I was Brooks manager I'd want nothing to do with Porter. The way he blew Devon and Paulie away I think he won't have much trouble doin the same to brook.
In other good news, Saunders upcoming fight is a final eliminator for Quillins title. I think that's potentially a very good fight. If Saunders can handle Quillins power (unlike Ndam) he has a great chance.
